When disaster struck in Haiti everyone was impacted by the images of destruction, the loss and the suffering. For a community on the Southside the impact endures as a Lay Leader at Chabad of Southside, Mr. Amilcar Bezares was deployed to Haiti to help and assist with relief efforts with Agility Logistics.

The students at Ganeinu – Chabad’s Early Childhood Development Center have begun collecting dolls that will be shipped to children in Haiti and will decorate beautiful cards that will all be delivered to Haiti in the by the end of the month.

On Friday February 12th the Preschool will hold a special event as the students lovingly decorate cards that they will send, with the help of Chabad Lay Leader Amilcar Bezares to share with needy children in Haiti.
