Model Family Terrace by the Lake

Overlooking the picturesque waterfront on the campus of Chabad of Jacksonville Town Center, the Model Family Terrace is a beautiful outdoor gathering space designed to bring people together.

Dedication

The terrace was dedicated in 2023 as the Model Family Terrace by the Lake, in recognition of Dr. Dmitriy Model, his wife Elena, and their family, whose generosity helped make the project possible. Dr. Model, a respected local physician, healthcare leader, and University of North Florida alumnus, has been a longtime supporter of Jewish life in Jacksonville and the work of Chabad of Jacksonville Town Center.

A Place to Gather

Created in response to the growing needs of Jacksonville's Jewish community, the terrace provides a scenic and welcoming setting for events of all kinds. Featuring comfortable seating, beautiful waterfront views, and outdoor event amenities, the space has hosted everything from Passover Seders and Bar Mitzvah celebrations to BBQs, community programs, and special events.

Private Events
