Chana Novack is the co-director of Chabad of Jacksonville Town Center, one of the most active and influential Jewish institutions in Northeast Florida, which she founded in 2006 together with her husband, Rabbi Shmuli Novack. Under their leadership, Chabad of Jacksonville Town Center has grown into a vibrant hub for Jewish life, education, and outreach, serving families, students, and professionals across the region.
In addition to her communal leadership, Chana is the founder and director of Ganeinu Early Childhood Development Center, the Reggio-inspired Jewish preschool at Chabad that provides a nurturing, child-centered early education rooted in strong Jewish values. At Ganeinu, she leads a dedicated team of educators focused on building on each child’s strengths and interests, helping young learners thrive socially, emotionally, and intellectually from their very first years.
Chana’s work at Ganeinu reflects her belief that early childhood education should be joyful, purposeful, and deeply connected to Jewish identity. She continually advances the program’s quality, integrating thoughtful curriculum and creative learning experiences that support the whole child.
Beyond her role at Ganeinu, Chana is actively engaged with families in the Jacksonville community, supporting meaningful Jewish programming, lifecycle experiences, and initiatives that bring people together. Her commitment to fostering connection, belonging, and growth has made her a trusted leader among parents, students, and community members alike.
Ms. Chana Novack lives in Jacksonville with her husband and five sons, and together they’re known for their openness, accessibility, and deep commitment to the Jewish community they serve.
