AHAVA, the Hebrew word for “love.”

The iconic AHAVA sculpture by acclaimed artist Robert Indiana anchors the gallery. a Hebrew spin on his famous LOVE sculpture, Indiana created AHAVA as a powerful expression of Jewish values and universal connection.

Installed as a permanent feature, the sculpture has become a beloved landmark and the inspiration for a new generation of artwork featured within the gallery.

Internationally renowned artist Romero Britto brings Jewish symbols, traditions, and themes to life through his signature blend of pop art and contemporary expression. The exhibition features a curated selection of Britto’s Jewish-inspired works, celebrating the beauty, joy, and vibrancy of Jewish life through his iconic style.

The exhibition features a newly unveiled painting by Romero Britto, unveiled at The Malnik Gallery and inspired by his 2023 visit to the gallery, where he encountered the iconic AHAVA sculpture. The work is Britto’s own interpretation of Robert Indiana’s classic design, reimagined through his signature style.
