Jacksonville to Pray for Safety in Israel
This Sunday July 13th 5pm
A special event will be held at Chabad of Southside on Sunday evening to pray for the welfare of the Holy Land and her people.
The unsettling news coming from the Middle East, with hundreds of rockets fired at nearly every city of the small country in addition to announcement that all Jews are now targets of Hamas and their ilk is weighing heavy on the hearts and minds of many on the First Coast.
“During trying times like these it is so important to come together and pray on behalf of our sisters and brothers who may be in harm’s way,” said Rabbi Shmuli Novack, Director Chabad of Southside who recently returned from the region.
The brief gathering will be held at Chabad of Southside and will be led by Rabbi Novack and by lay leaders. The program is open to the public and will be held on Sunday Evening July 13th at 5:00 pm and will run for approximately 30 minutes.
